Natural Language Processing
AI methods with brains - Evaluating large amounts of speech and text
If you want to gain valuable insights for your company, you have another useful data source in addition to figures: texts and language. A single website alone can contain several hundred sub-pages. Every day we send and receive countless e-mails, not to mention the digital document volumes in libraries and corporate archives. They hide a lot of valuable information: What skills does my competitor have? Does the customer mail have a high priority? Which projects actually pay off on my set goals?
Natural Language Processing methods provide insights and solutions. They automatically analyze texts and language and can be applied to a wide variety of business cases: in the analysis of error messages in production processes, in the strategic management of companies or in input and knowledge management for marketing and research.
What is actually the highlight of NLP?
NLP is a branch of Artificial Intelligence and uses algorithms of Machine Learning and Deep Learning to recognize valuable information in large, unstructured data sets. How? A text consists of many different words and contexts. On both levels NLP methods generate a numerical representation, which can then be used for calculations.
Examples from our projects and offers
Due to our different technical skills and methodological knowledge, we can integrate NLP technology into your overall system, for example in combination with Big Data Analytics. Together with many of our customers, we have realized Poof of Concepts and projects and use our VDPP platform.
Industry 4.0: Akzent4BaSys funding project |
Smart communication = optimized production processMan and machine speak one language - this could soon be reality at GS Kunststofftechnik. If there is a disruption in production, our NLP technology analyses the spoken and written word of the plant employees and automatically provides solutions. This project is funded under the name Akzent4BaSys (funding code 01IS19048B) by the German Federal Ministry for Research and Education (BMBF). |
Solutions for input and knowledge management |
Making large text inventories usable for research and marketingOver the course of time, an enormous document pool has accumulated in research centres and company archives. With our NLP methods you can manage this treasure of knowledge and make it accessible. This saves costs and time in the areas of marketing and research. |
VDPP: Our integrated NLP solution |
Universal reference environment for NLP services and smart data architectures The VDPP platform is a multi-talent: It is the basis for analytics in all our NLP projects. The special thing: It is industry-neutral and open in many respects - open, for example, for the addition of new services and for integration into new front-ends. |
The advantages at a glance: NLP...
-
offers objectivity, because the technology evaluates text and speech on a purely factual, mathematical basis,
-
automatically processes large amounts of data - this saves costs and resources,
-
specifically examines documents using Topic Modeling and helps with their quality assurance,
-
automatically summarizes large quantities of documents and thus provides a quick overview of complex topics.
-
compares texts, documents and archive contents and enables keywording for better knowledge management,
-
uses classification and clustering methods (text classification) to extract key data from customer and social media communications to better identify trends and make faster decisions in communications, marketing and product management.
-
recognizes not only facts or content terms, but also semantic relationships between the terms (Semantic Analysis and Semantic Matching).

Among other things, he takes care of the algorithms and the core of NLP. As part of the implementation team of the VDPP platform, he and his colleagues have the task of technically implementing the methods and goals, developing new methods and implementing them in the platform.
The graduate computer scientist has a broad IT spectrum and knowledge: starting with architectures up to business analyses. In his long career he has already carried out successful projects in all industries. He is always happy to be involved when it comes to advising customers, familiarizing himself with new topics and creating good solutions.
He studied architecture and philosophy and learned SAS at the Heidelberg University Computer Center. He financed his studies with an IT job at a young Heidelberg IT consultancy. After a few years there he took over the responsibility for several clients in the financial sector. Then he got the offer to spin off the business unit into his own company - the starting point of Kybeidos. There is one thing he appreciates most about his work: getting direct feedback from clients at the end of the day. And to see that you actually create business value and added value.
